A poem of what I feel, quite pointless, but I need to sharpen my poetry skills for my two remaining but very long assignments for both English and English Extension.

WHY did I pick extension classes for both math and english I do not know! At least the compulsory studies of religion gets shortened Even though I have to wake up early for that class…



Its a sonnet because that’s somewhat, what I should be writing ( in the pattern of a Petrarchan sonnet – ugh, love poetry : Quatrain+ Quatrain (known as a Octave) and then Tercet + Tercet (known as a Sestet)

A pattern of abba abba cde cde consisting of four lines and then three lines

) for my Eng X assignment.

Pity my normal Adv. English one is due on NEXT bloody Wednesday… X_x and I haven’t started as usual because I have a physics report and some other bits and pieces of homework – GAH.

Its a long weekend of four days and yet,

A pit of worry envelopes me.

On the Horizon not far from thee,

It’s assignments and homework twas set.



Panic envelopes,

Worry arises,

Thoughts floating – getting no wiser,

The plot develops.



Rapid rush, paper flies,

Pen moves,

Head hurts, hand rises.



Adrenaline floods – in my veins it lies,

Anxiety, the ink isn’t smooth,

It must be done, the typed text but all the feelings want – is to let out cries.

Definitely not something that can bit used in the assignment – it has to be related to love, and definitely longer. There’s also no real usage of language features, present in a Petrarch poem.



Damnit, I don’t even KNOW what goes into the 1000+ word essays that I have to write – and I’m getting nowhere with the related texts to the Great Gatsby..



And it all has to be done by the end of Monday – because other homework will flood in.
