Happy Birthday to me

Hm.. Well, it was my birthday on the 25th of May. Yay.
However, that’s not being sarcastic. It was a nice day really. Just I still feel upset that my grandma isn’t around for it.

Of course, I was also a little down because:
1. Received my report two days before. Meep. May I hide, please?
2. Got a hair cut a day before (and it was just meant to be symbolic of putting away frivolities — only for my birthday to suddenly arrive the next day. That just so weakens my resolve. Heh.)

But on the other hand, I managed to draw manga style ^_^ Or what I would think would be manga style.
I like how it turned out. It looks almost exactly what I think a manga page looks like ^^ Though I suppose it could do with some touch ups in my manga studio debut program — though this was done in photoshop since it doesn’t have a vectoring tool in it.

So other than getting another assignment - nothing really has been going on.

*sigh* My life is so dull. Constantly revolving around school with no time for anything else and its winter coming soon, so no there’s no so called summer holidays. *rolls eyes*

Busy as usual

Busy with schoolwork as usual. This day to day process of going to school and working on homework + study all day + lots of unwanted procrastination in between + lack of sleep is seriously getting to me.

This is so depressing. Having fun now feels like procrastination >_< Not to mention the lack of sleep trying to get everything finished on time. Or the notes that aren't even all that thorough.

However, I am now doing constant notes in the detested physics and I do chemistry notes every time the section ends... so I suppose it's an okay pace. That is, if I manage to catch up all the other works.

Meantime - Yet another, I shouldn't have done any art and I should focus on my studies instead --

Hmm assignment checklist this term is rather short -

*Physics
*Studies of Religion

But that doesn’t change the fact that I’ll be swamped next term with assessments.

Of course, this week is pretty busy. How unjoyful.

Firstly, I have parent teacher interviews tomorrow. Which means reports. K’so. I didn’t do well in physics and chemistry.

Even better? It’s photos day the day after on the 24th. May I hide?

And of course… the 25th of May - a Thursday (seems like it always falls on this day..) only, this time, my grandmother won’t be around to celebrate it… She’ll never be around ever again…unless she’s a ghost now. Doubtful.

That hurts the most, I suppose. Of course, I seem to half forget the day too don’t I? But is there really anything to celebrate about?
17 years old. What … fun. Makes very little difference. Perhaps I’ll just try and change for the better…

I want to get into university after all. Heh. But right now?

I just feel like repressed, oppressed, and depressed.

Oh yes, and Friday’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea Day which goes towards the Cancer Council to support Cancer Research ^^ So join in with that!! =) Least there’s some form of good will this week.
