Well, like I mentioned in the last post, my UAI came in and this number is the one and only thing that determines what university I end up in. Baah. How lousy. Nonetheless, I still have EAS points from 4-10 so adding that might boost my UAI but it depends on which uni.

I’m thinking of changing my university preferences to this order…

1. 511504 Bachelor of Commerce at USYD 93.40
2. 511515 Bachelor of Economics at USYD 90.15
3. 600010 Bachelor of Business at UTS 89.05
4. 300210 Bachelor of Commerce at MQ 85.75
5. 605002 Bachelor of Business Bachelor of Computing at UTS 84.00
6. 424002 Bachelor of Economics at UNSW 85.00
7. 300497 Bachelor of eBusiness at MQ 75.10
8. 701200 Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at UWS 80.00
9. 424000 Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW 93.00 [still there but I'm not particularly interested]

However, I’m just not quite sure if I should move BBus/BComp up to 2nd. If I do that, then I’ll more than likely get in but.. I just don’t know if the extra year over the BBus would be worth the time..

Oh and since today is Christmas Eve, Merry Christmas peeps =)

Site wise, I’m looking to join a few directories. Perhaps even starting my own one. … On second thoughts, perhaps not. That might require too much effort. I’m thinking of getting a link from the EntireURL directory though. It sounds pretty good. Apparently it says:

The EntireURL Directory is a general directory built by the people and for the people. The EntireURL team has created the ultimate general directory that is both search engine friendly as people friendly.

If it actually gives a link that appears on search engines, then I’d like to say that’s pretty awesome. After all, you usually just have a redundant link that SEO doesn’t reach on those sparkly directories like Glitter. In this case, it might be similar to a link exchange and it might actually boost up one’s Google Page Rank.

Speaking of Page Ranks, recently I found RealRanker and the Alexa rank is so so harsh. But then again, Alexa requires some spyware toolbar so I really can’t say I care.

Well.. yep, for the past few days, I’ve been sulking over the UAI and my lack lustre HSC results and idly browsing the internet. *shrug* I believe that the fanfics are slowly running out… and I still have at least a month of holidays left!! Ouch.

Well anyway, after the morning tea thing at school (which few went to), my friends and I went to the city. We were supposed to go to the net cafe but we kinda got sidetracked and only went for an hour because by then it was 5-6pm ish. *shrug*
Pity.

So my HSC results came back.

Gaaah, the estimator gives me 87.5 >_< Which isn’t enough!! Argh. However, that’s an ESTIMATE *nod* tomorrow might be different!
Till tomorrow.
Then that’s true judgement day.
Oh and the last time I visit school again.

This makes me cry though.
Might not be able to get into even UTS Bachelor of Business! Gaah.

[edit: WOOT! 88.40! ^_^ Plus the E.A.S. points means 93.40 ^_^ Juuust enough for Commerce...if it doesn't rise. Actually, maximum is 10 points so theoretically I could get into a 98.40 course. Maybe I'll be safe even if the cutoff rises.]

Wouldn’t it be funny to replace the christmas tree with an aluminium pole like that of festivus in Seinfield?
It would certainly reflect the commercialism of the holiday. *snicker*

Naah, that was just a whimsical thought.

Here’s a Christmas card for ye all. Not really, since I made it with Core-Fusion‘s splash page in mind. But I suppose its about as much Christmas cheer as you can get me into.

The gathering at Mary’s was cancelled on Saturday because her uncle died. My prayers go to her. I hope their family will be alright.

Well, that would be the one time that my friends would have been able to meet up other than judgement day. So much for Christmas cheer. That said, I haven’t written up a single Christmas card yet.

So what’s this judgement day?

HSC RESULTS ARE COMING TOMORROW!! *WAILS*
And then UAI RESULT ON WEDNESDAY!! *MORE CRYING*

So yes, it is quite depressing…
Wednesday shall truly be the last time that I’ll probably see people again, [whether I miss people or not.. but I don't keep in contact with people much T_T ] for the next step is university.
How fitting that Gackt’s Seiippai no Sayonara is playing right now. It’s so depressing as well.

Of course, getting the UAI.. University Admission Index. Eek. A rank. I hope I get over 90… I hope I make it into my first choice. *sigh* You get until the 4th of January to change the university course preferences, but all the open days are on the 3rd!!
Of course, you only manage to find out what course you end up in on the 17th. *sigh*

Hmm, shouldn’t sigh since, most amusingly, did you know that when one sighs one shrinks? xD Hahaha. Of course that’s probably not true but the Full Metal Alchemist fanfics are getting to meeee! Because Ed is so short!! *gets killed*

Still boredom abounds.
Shall post my results tomorrow. Unless they really are that bad.
In which I’ll disappear. Or have to find a pathway. Blast.

Why oh why do the results come out at 6am in the morninggg!! And then 9am the next..
