Been playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney…

Objection!
More Objections!
[edit: Yelps! o.O Okayy, they're flash and they're noisy, and putting two on the same page was a blurred explosion.... sooo click those objections for a laugh ^^;]

^ Those fun if not slightly lame (in a good way!) come from this nifty little generator at: http://objection.mrdictionary.net/
So anyway, I finally finished playing Phoenix Wright:Ace Attorney and it’s sequel Justice for All which I actually started playing first :/ Hm.. think I like that one more actually.

It’s a good game which seems to combine the typical japanese renai story telling doujinshi style[bleh.. but hey, even the artists admit that some graphics had BL in mind xD] with that of an evidence proving, court battle reminiscence of this game I used to play called Eagle Eye Detectives. ‘Cept, that wasn’t as funny xD

Unfortunately, as all good things come to an end, the 3rd and final bit of the Phoenix Wright saga comes out in August.. and that’s not soon enough T_T But then there’s yet another sequel starring a new character so that’s okay =) Actually, the 4th is out in Japan for DS already, though it has no translation so bleh stuff that.

What a way to waste away a month’s cold freezing winter holiday break with these nice little 2 day games xD Soo… Ja Ne!~

Play! A Video Game Symphony was MADNESS!!

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007

Okay, I just came back from Play! A Video Game Symphony with two of my friends, Sarah and Tina. _ Happy Birthday yesterday, by the way, Tina-kunz xD

It’s holiday period now so I have approximately 1 month left. xD

Well let me first say, Oh my gosh. It is AWESOME O_O A symphony never sounds as good on tv.. like wow… the sound flows right around you, and you can actually tell what is being played and okay, when you can’t in organised, deafening chaos ;P It’s still damn good!

First they played Super Mario Bros’ theme, hehe, and then they played these two other ones [okay, my gameage knowledge isn't that that brill], then it was sonic the hedgehog, oblivion-the elderscrolls, metal gear solid, world of warcraft, kingdom hearts 1 and 2, then it was a break hahaa. Bet the musicians needed it haha.

They also played other Nobuo Uematsu songs though I can’t quite recall em. They’re apparently new? Like um.. Blue Dragon or something?

They then played Halo 1 and 2’s music, um.. Castlevania, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Silent Hill [guitar soloist definitely wasn't there beforehand, but they were great too!] and then finally, Legend of Zelda. It seemed like they wouldn’t play One Winged Angel and that would have been such a bummer since it’s the one thing I was looking extremely forward to but they did in the end ____ [although they didn't show final fantasy 7 and Sephiroth getting pwned.. awww haha still madness though!]

The use of the Sydney Opera House’s pipe organ piano.. wow.. the pianist’s hands practically flew over the keys…got to say, that orchestra was magnificent as was Arnie Roth’s maestro waving furiously haha.

So anyway, they also gave out World of Warcraft trial cds and Animania.net.au postcards and CNet.com.au hand bands as they’re labelled haha. Of course, today was the last day in Sydney that they would perform so hm.. well, apparently, Video Games Live! might come along..

But most important of all, I saw my friends again! =D

Winter’s light after exams.

Sunday, June 17th, 2007

A blog full of rambling. Tis expected after not blogging for a bit. You can skip most of it and just give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on my art piece below featuring Chii and Freya from Chobits. Yes, the picture within this blog with two characters, not one. You’ll have skipped too far down if you find just Chii being isolated.

There’s accounting and micro left next week and then there shall be one whole month of holidays. Woot.
Alrighty aye so anyway, methinks that QMA shall have a downwards slope with that last question 6 (a) being a very heavy weight pulling my marks dowwwnn.

Accounting study is going somewhat on track if I manage to get my mini notes done. Of course, after looking at the past papers, not that I should be using that as a guide, I believe I can do most of it, and I’m doing another round of writing palm card sized notes that somewhat meet all the objectives in a way like flash cards. If there’s enough time, I’d skim through the tutorial questions again but eh. There’s also perdisco but.. once is enough I believe, and they wouldn’t be so nice in the exams to give you the correct headings. Plus T-accounts really bug me for some reason.

Alright ’nuff about exams, it just reminds me of how much procrastination I’m doing.

Core-Fusion.net? Core-Graphics is prolonged because technically, the forum admin is non-existent for it. mutters Can I swap Core-Games with whoever does become core-graphics? I mean.. C’mon! Core-games? Who me? What were they thinking? ‘ I think it just cements the fact that I need to make the big in my sig that says “Damnit, stop calling me a guy” bigger >> Just because I pwn everyone there at those lame “sigs”, and they don’t wanna admit that haha jks xD

Geez. Let’s see what’s wrong with placing so much faith in a person’s graphic ability based on copyrighted images, filters, and random blending options, within a little 400 by 150 signature?

Well speaking of graphics, here’s my latest which features Chii AND Freya now xD I think I’m really happy with how it turned out for once. Might be the fact that it has a background =D Hahaha. That is, a background with some form of depth to it. Also might be the fact that I was careful with drawing it for once and took quite a bit to draw it all up..

chii+freya

So anyway, what to do after the exams are over… sigh Can’t wait till they’re overrrr. Then its winter holidays!! Haven’t ever had a winter break so long before ___ Ellie suggested going to some snow place after seeing some poster up in the uni. Blue mountains, snowy mountains, Thredbo? No clue. Could be fun haha. Let me just imagine falling down in a bad attempt at skiing if my [non-existent] iceskating ability is any indication.

Hm. Iceskating. I do hope that Elva doesn’t suggest something like that although it’d be nice to see her again too. Iceskating is so damn cold in summer, [of course, blame that on the strong air con], but going in winter too? Ohhh no. My nose already feels like it’ll break off. Don’t like the idea of it actually doing so. Bet it’ll be to Macquarie’s iceskating again. Haha. Oh never blacktown for some reason. Although it might just be reminescing back when we all used to go there during school sports.

So anyway.. she’s to do the UMAT again around July.. oh hell, but good luck. Think I still have my score somewhere since they only sent it out electronically it was something like 162 percentile and I remember that my marks for the second bit was the lowest. Coincidentally, that was the empathy or understanding people bit actually.. aka. “Care factor of people? Below 50.” Hahaha. Quite sad that it actually applies, but hey, why else am I doing something like Commerce? Although, I think that only Niraaz actually managed to use his UMAT score to go into med at Newcastle… but ugh. To sit that thing again. :/

After a 14 week semester with only a week’s break in it? Youch. Just. Youch. Although I suppose with a 12 week semester in 2008 it’ll be an even longer winter break I suppose. Hey heyy I’m old enough for paintball or laser tag now xD Yay. What else is there to do? But anyway, it’d be Tina’s birthday the very next day after my exams finish [although I believe she's busy on that day with Kim so hahaha nevermind ;P], so I shall see her and Sarah on Saturday then at the Play! A Video Game Symphony. Hm. What a random thing though. But hey, coolness. Haha. I wonder if they’ll play One-Winged-Angel. If that isn’t orchestral, what is? Eh.. really though, don’t quite know what to do in the next holidays, but definitely something! _‘ Gawd. the 4 month holidays after HSC were just so dull.
