AVOID Ice design! As in that “clothes” store. It’s terrible.

I shall backlog now, perhaps as a reminder, of the 29th of December, 2007. It was a lovely day, sans the final store I went into. Really shouldn’t have either. I mean, horrid eyesore patterned dresses were hanging out of the display windows after all!

So the day began as I went bowling at Manhattan Superbowl in Liverpool with my friends. That was awesome. Due to the scoring board being temporarily off due to electrical problems, we had free bowling xD That thusly resulted in me spending more on the arcade games they had at the back xD

This tenpin bowling club has the retro feel going on. Neon lights, darkness, diner type tables, and so forth. I shall forget mentioning certain details such as the score I got in the end though =P Got a purpley bouncy ball with googley eyes as a result of the arcade whacking though.

Lunch was at Westfields shopping centre. After eons of years, there was.. gasp… KFC!
Went shopping afterwards. Bought various things, though hardly all that much in terms of post Christmas sales. What annoys me most of the day was walking in into that stupid Ice Designs store. The change rooms were rarely available, with the mirrors on the OUTSIDE, and when I got sick of waiting, the store assistant skanks were laughing at me behind my back. Hmph. Clearly never going THERE again. Of course, it appears the statement is true, that Ice is even worse than Supre. And I HATE Supre. I didn’t even want to go into that store. Just wish I had the foresight to have gone outside. Could have probably bought more in that horrid time waiting.

After watching store assistants that push people into buying clothes that don’t fit them, like ‘helping’ the girl I saw trying dress after dress, with each attempt into a multicoloured horror called a maxi dress, with the her arms and boobs oozing out, well.. it sure wasn’t a pretty sight, I reaallyy didn’t want to stay there any longer. That dress was damn fugly, and I wonder why Elva had to buy one of those, albeit the shorter types. Thankfully, she has a much better figure than that chick I saw, however, the dress design itself was ugly. Sure it’s cheap, but it looks terrible fabric and design wise. Oh well. Suit herself. But yes. icedesign.com.au? Avoid! Avoid! I suppose it’s only Australia that has to suffer it. =(

Post-Christmas.

Well, now Christmas is over and it’s post Christmas sales time. Can’t say I celebrated Christmas much this year. Think it’s because of my endlessly long 3 month summer holidays before the start of a new university year and the lack of seeing my ever busy friends.

Out of the Christmas haul, the most interesting one would be my camera:
Canon Powershot A550
A Canon Powershot A550. Might mean I’ll take interesting pictures now, except I am still as pathetic with a camera as I have always been. Images appear either shaky [guess I better step up the ISO/noise], blurry, or the flash was on when it ought not be. Oh well. Never did like photography much. The pen is my preferred tool. Like my tablet pc <3

It really annoys me when things online have to be credit card only and not paypal or even bank deposit. Reminds me to charge up my bopo prepaid credit card if I want to get some interestingly cheap clothes from ezi-buy which has a nothing over $30AUD sale. Pretty good when it comes to pants, jackets and dresses. Not so when it comes to shirts though if my card were charged up, I would be bound to buy some anyway. -shrug-

However, of the post-christmas sales, I suppose what I’m looking for is a laptop/messenger/shoulder bag.. with drink pockets on the sides! My current messenger bag bulks up horridly when my umbrella and drink bottle are inside it, and the shoulder strap rather hurts. Think I might look into a tote. Not quite my type of thing though..
