The things you read in newspapers.

The things you read in newspapers make you feel powerless to stop atrocities. The only thing one can do is to spread awareness of such events. Did you know, for example, that African slavery, sold off to developed countries still continues and yet nothing is done about it?
Well that’s a thought for the day. I really should join some sort of social justice club again at university this year. Last year was a year of being a sitting duck, a wallflower, a pointless waste of space. In fact I should do more this year and join some other things too. There’s that secondary transcript hanging over my head after all. Plus contributing to the community would use up this plentiful free time.
Of course, financially, I am hindered by the fact that ARC@unsw, the student union, requires a hefty membership fee in order to join clubs, else I have to pay significantly in order to join clubs individually in addition to the club fees. -_-’
But so be it.

Now I just need to stick to these resolutions.

And here’s a Maya Fey under a waterfall training her spirit medium powers.

Real Estate Investing

With increasing real estate prices within Sydney, clearly getting into real estate investment could be one of those great ideas. After all, real estate agents earn heaps. Well, while there’s TAFE as a location to learn at, there’s also Nouveau Riche University offers a wide variety of over 30 real estate investing and business related classes including short sales, wholesaling, fix & flip, business financial management, foreclosures, retirement plan investing, buying out of state deals and more.

So anyway, I came across this site called Nouveaurized one day, and it’s a new blog featuring dozens of success stories from alumni students of the popular real estate investment college, Nouveau Riche University. Perhaps it’s something pretty good to look into as an alternative to TAFE.
