Of a week’s break. Oddly productive, and yet not enough.

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

So I say goodbye to the end of this week’s Easter break. Hope you all had a happy easter full of chocolate and religious fervor and all that. Can’t say I celebrate it that much when one tries to catch up to just 2 weeks of mere learning. And 10 week without a break to come. :/
Bah. Legal, as interesting as it is, comes with far too much reading. 4 chapters x 20 pages?! But I suppose that’s an anomaly given perhaps because there was that week’s break. Though they ought not plan it so.
Finance? meh.. it’s a repeat of QMA for week 2, and new stuff only begins in week 3. Different lecturer too ^^ One hopes they communicate with more clarity.
Accounting? Oh wow, its QMB’s regression =o. I understand it now, put into an accounting context. Or maybe it’s because I just don’t have to do the calculations now.
Psychology? It’s interesting. Perhaps too much so. With multiple choice and minor assignments, and heck, even the possibility for extra credit, something I haven’t encountered, why on earth do I look at it so much? Is it because I have psychology on 3 out of 4 my days at uni? Perhaps it is, and perhaps not.

Animania mini I did not go.
Thursday night meet up I did. o.O Oddly enough. Oh hello Regent’s Park once more. Haven’t seen thee since years ago. Nor for few while have I seen some of my dear high school friends. =) Joyous to see all thou again. Monthly evening [where we aren't busy] it shall be. =D Aka. not Thursday. >_>
And this poet’s tongue shall be cut because I’m going insane trying [and failing] to get the iambic pentameter correct. U_U

Meanwhile, I’ve discovered a trojan which shall now be called Trojan.Downloader.MSIL.agent.p and Trojan.Download.MSIL.agent.q. That said, I hope it hasn’t caused too big a trouble on my computer :/ Because deleting it and the regfiles are all that I can do – and block them from sending anything to a website I suppose.
I’m not sure if that’s enough to get rid of its prescence. But basically, it’ll end up as a process with the manufacturer as Microsoft rather than Microsoft Corporation, links to some chinese website. So winsmss.exe is BAD.

The May Firm

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

The May Firm is a plano divorce attorney law firm situated in Dallas.
From first glance, it appears quite strange to share a design that immediately resembles a blog. Nonetheless, the site is very informative about plano family lawyer practice which is rather interesting to read about as a student doing legal studies, albeit, the business law variety. On the site, there is information about Texas divorce law basics, but also information that distinguishes divorce from annulment, joint custody, divorce settlements, common law marriages, and so forth.

So who runs the firm? Well, Michelle May O’Neil, president of The May Firm is a certified family law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is nationally recognized as a plano divorce lawyer leader. There’s also, Ashley Bowline, a 2006 graduate of the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University, who brings her passion for family law to the firm, Christina Garcia, the Senior Paralegal for the firm who has worked for Michelle May O’Neil for 7 years. With a degree in Paralegal Studies from El Centro College, Christina has the experience and patience to assist with client’s cases at all levels, Lisa Hanna, another Paralegal for the firm who has worked for Michelle May O’Neil for 3 years. Lisa is a “get-it-done” kind of person and is eager to help clients through their cases, and Bill Iott, the firm’s Administrator, who handles the administrative tasks needed to run a law firm. Bill owns his own law firm administration firm, Legal Works Consulting, Inc.

It seems well staffed, and well informed, and perhaps you might wish to check the place out if you have any plano family lawyer issues.

Of unusual little things.

Monday, March 24th, 2008

I just noticed that the google ad at the bottom can scroll through now. Although I can’t quite seem to the see the point, but hey, it’s an amusing little thing.

I have a break. Yay =D It lasts a just a week. How ever so short.
I won’t have anymore breaks afterwards. Until end of the semester, 10 more long long weeks away. Actually, it’s more. There’s exams to account for as well.

Of other little things I notice? That psychology has a test that counts to the grade based on participation, rather than ability. Which basically means I could make up the answers randomly and still get full marks snorts.
Oh, and there’s no tutorial questions to prepare for. That and I spend far too much effort on it compared to something along the lines of accounting and finance.

Far too many people have worked, or work at NQTuition. Yes, the name is blended. No I refuse to link to that horrid place. The N should be cut off anyway considering the end of that partnership.

And after numerous long weeks, or week+lots of neglect, I have scanned all my textbooks. Hip hip hooray.

Oh, and from a bad angle, my keyboard really doesn’t type as nicely as it used to methinks. Seems to get stuck heaps. Pretty bad since its a laptop keyboard, and I’ll need it for lectures!

Finite, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fate only gets 7/10 from me because it isn’t all that great.

And I really ought to summarise my notes more.

Any artistry is on hiatus as I deal with hosting server issues which have left me with… 3mb of space left. >_>
