Whoops. It appears that my attempt to block spam..blocked everything else too.

Saturday, September 27th, 2008

First things first.
Whoops. Now I just realised I set it off to registered users only to stop off these spam attacks I’ve been getting.

Alright, it’s been ages since I’ve last posted. Quite possible because I had several grueling assignments due.
Well, now its a one week break. Yay!

Oww. My head hurts. I attempted to sleep longer than I should have to compensate for my lack of sleep.
But clearly that does not work. And I know it doesn’t work. Why? Because we talked about sleep entirely too much in my psychology courses and I wasn’t so sleepy that I couldn’t listen to it all.

But yes. My head really really kills. Blah.

And this break isn’t a break because I need to study.
..even if I spent last night playing games.
Yay! Games. I haven’t played games in eons.
And I want to do more reading because my vocabulary has started to be drained.
As you can tell by the lack of eloquence in my words in the paragraphs above.
That as well as starting the sentence off with ‘and’ which isn’t correct grammar either.

Oh well.
Unfortunately, somehow I need to factor in study into all this.
Erk.

I’m still tired albeit, not sleepy, but my coherence is really lacking so I’ll just. stop.

I wonder if I can recover my snarkiness. -pouts- … not when I’m making expressions such as that. =_=

“Look at this photograph. Every time I do, it makes me laugh.”

Sunday, September 14th, 2008

Last night. Hm. Welll, stayed out longer than I should have this time. Meh. I don’t think the parental unit were too annoyed. . . though as they’re temporarily not here and I’m sleepily recounting this… who knows.
So. 7 people including myself. Certainly a cut down from the 14 or so invited xD

Title is from the lyrics of Nickelback - Photograph which are so ever fitting for us all. Well partially. Sans the criminal record bit although………hm. Nahh.

Look at this photograph
Everytime I do it makes me laugh
How did our eyes get so red
And what the hell is on Joey’s head?

So anyway, went to Elva’s house first and we [being myself and Tina] looked at old photos of everyone. It looks as if she saved a lot of them on her new laptop over the years though I recognise some of those in my own files too. You can really see a movement across time as people age. [Not that I’ve looked at the photographs in eons…well, maybe not eons. It’s on my other external hard drive now.] Well, on her computer, there were photos from those picnics at Homebush which I never got to go to! Ah yes. Grounded. To my shock and horror, because. S’if ground me the few times I’m bothered to go anywhere! ..Then again, in thaat case, I so deserved it. Oh well.

There’s this one from bouncy boxing where I was sooo totally pwning her. xD Which Tina wanted to label it that. I believe I still have a copy somewhere. It makes me laugh. xD I’m the one in the pink and Elva’s the one on the ground. Although if you looked at the facial expressions, I’m barely able to keep up with holding both boxing gloves. But you won’t since I refuse to show my face. Speaking of faces, a lot of photos have redeye in them. Product of digital cameras?
and SD pwns!
Ah. Oweek last year.

Back when Usyd started a week LATER than UNSW rather than the other way around… and Varun was there too - though he wasn’t yesterday >_> [Not amused pruney-boi. Not amused. Although I am so very amused by this picture of you in Niraaz’s arms. Mwhahahaha.]

Mai-chi’s birthday…we got her a police dog from the Build-a-Bear place in Westfield Parra. Well, Tina and Elva went to get it one Thursday evening while I was still stuck in psychology lectures! -_-’ Meh.

Miguel was late by an hour so we watched potter puppet pals and stuff online and matilda was on tv as well although the focus was alll on the small[er] screen. xD Ah. Youtubing. Fun stuff. Well. If I wasn’t capped I’d be doing that too. Probably. Mindless humour ftw! Let’s go bother snape!! xD

And this is where I grew up
I think the present owner fixed it up
I never knew we’d ever went without
The second floor is hard for sneaking out

Well, we drove by the Regents Park campus and there were people in the hall! Then we remembered it was election counting and the hall did get used as a polling booth which I remembered going to back when some were around.

There’s this awesome noodle house in Berala [well, the only one there is]. The beef VEGETABLE fried rice noodles are pretty awesome albeit, really filling. And vegetable’d. Bleh. I think the crispy egg noodles are pretty good too judging by the smell. Think I’ll get it next time. Actually, I think I remember going here back at the end of Year 10.. or was it Year 9 since Joey was still around? [Bit late, but there’s the Joey reference! xD She didn’t come either but then she’s only in Sydney for studying and going back Melbourne whenever…]

You know guys.. it feels rather distant now. Or maybe its because there’s an uneven number of people and I can’t think of what to converse about since we talk online all the time anyway. [Oh wait, except youuu, Elva! You never come on msn anymore =__='’ Nice catching up with y’all though xD]

And this is where I went to school
Most of the time had better things to do
Criminal record says I broke in twice
I must have done it half a dozen times

Does breaking in count when you’re allowed in to study during the holidays before the HSC? Haha. Certainly dozen of times then!

From one convo I remember yesterday night- Alrighty, alrighty, I gather that people are happy with just passing but if I were happy with just that then I would be doing shit all all day and just sitting there staring mindlessly at the tv -yawns-. Certainly, I wouldn’t mind more sleep, more gaming, more drawing, more reading and more fun rather than being cramped inside on sunny days. Why am I motivated? Am I motivated? Meh.
Sarah and Simon making all these references to movies and actors and so forth that sounds like another language according to Tina, and I think I might agree. xD Forgot to bring those silly ARC free drink vouchers for Simon. [What, as if I’d use them? Why would I want to be drinking for?]
Actually.. now that I think about it, they WERE in my wallet, but in the compartment I don’t look at because its hard to pull anything out from.

I wonder if it’s too late
Should i go back and try to graduate
Life’s better now than it was back then
If I was them I wouldn’t let me in

Alrighty, this line doesn’t link at alll since we all graduated. . . But it does remind me that I haven’t gone back to school since graduation. :/ The teachers were so brilliant… And I really should go back one day. Just to thank them. All the English teachers rocked, for example; even the ones you randomly bump into at Auburn central some arvos [hey hey hey! This wasn’t during school years!! =O Detention. 3 years later LOL].

Every memory of looking out the back door
I had the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor
It’s hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye.
Every memory of walking out the front door
I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for
It’s hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye.

Hey.. it’s always goodbye. But goodbye doesn’t have to be final.

Remember the old arcade
Blew every dollar that we ever made
The cops hated us hangin’ out
They say somebody went and burned it down

Well Galaxy world Parramatta is gone? And I think there’s been other arcades gone too. And Intencity at macquarie centre got rid of the boxing machine =( *pouts* There’s more ten pin bowling places gone though. -__-

We used to listen to the radio
And sing along with every song we know
We said someday we’d find out how it feels
To sing to more than just the steering wheel

Only back when the songs on the radio were good! [Or one just plain didn’t care xD]

Kim’s the first girl I kissed
I was so nervous that I nearly missed
She’s had a couple of kids since then
I haven’t seen her since god knows when

That falls under Tina’s category. [Sans the bit involving Kim+kids. LOL. Although… Kim’s new girlfriend is as short as a kid…Kim admits it! Though that ‘kid’ is 23 :s]
So anyway, Tina was cropping away the pictures with Kim in it… :/
Did they part on that bad terms?

I miss that town
I miss the faces
You can’t erase
You can’t replace it
I miss it now
I can’t believe it
So hard to stay
Too hard to leave it

If I could I relive those days
I know the one thing that would never change

Look at this photograph
Everytime I do it makes me laugh
Everytime I do it makes me…

Everytime I look at photographs…
it makes me smile.
It makes me frown.
It makes me… reminisce.
Don’t you acquiesce?

Springing into allergies.

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

Or at least, they will as the days get warmer [alright, for the past 1/2 a month into spring, it’s been cold. But today is just soo warm! It’s at least 27 degrees celcius.]

So local elections were today so off to the polling booth I go for the second time ever [well.. where I can actually vote that is. Was very marginally too young for the State elections last year I believe, so I could only vote in the Federal.] Speaking of which, the NSW state government just got overhauled with the top dogs booted about a week ago [okay, so that was more like resignation]. But um. :x
Although the former wasn’t doing much, the current seems to reek 3 days in with the new cabinet already having scandal based resignations, and you kind of wonder what good a premier who’s only been in politics for 2 years could actually do.

On the other hand, been watching the paralympics and I think these people are so brilliant to succeed even after what life dealt them with. Although…granted, in the case of running, I really do wonder about the fairness of having two mechanical legs and whether that can be attributed to the runner rather than the person who devised that device.

So anyway, I am surprisingly sitting quite nicely on my grades [sans politics which I haven’t received any feedback on!] seeing as I’m averaging 84.17% for accounting, 108% or rather 84.71% in psychology if you discount my extra credit. Heh. and 85% for legal. Of course, the difference is that 30% of accounting is decided, only 17% of psychology is decided and only 20% of legal is decided. So when you take that into account, there is a bigger difference.

Speaking of psychology and legal? Well, 25/20% of the more of the final grade will get decided in week 9 and I need to get going with doing those assignments! And yet I haven’t really been bothered…
I also have to basically discuss the legal homework for the week so I need to do that to a better quality, and I DEFINITELY need to start writing notes for all the weeks! The only notes I possess are for accounting and even then its not for all the weeks and thus, I have 4 whole subjects to write notes for during my 1 week mid-session break. Argh. That’s in addition to doing the second politics essay. -sigh-

Well. Stuff that. Tonight, it’s seeing my high school friends again over dinner. ^_^ Well. Some of them. Seeing as this is during the middle of semester, it probably means less people can make it =(
