Design team’s task of the week? Cutting out the cast to be put into the program. Uhoh.
Although I understand the point of cutting out backgrounds from an image so that they can be used elsewhere, regardless of the tool used – be it the select tool, the eraser, or the most precise method, the pen tool, even without choppy edges, or strange blurs…. it just looks wrong for an image to be strangely sharp and so ever stark against the background.
Of course, perhaps that’s because neon green is a good idea when you’re trying to remove backgrounds but… still! It all depends on how the cutout will be utilised – and that’s fairly hard to predict.
On the other hand, the photography was good I will have to admit.
And this is the boat I made in the holidays out of cardboard, masking tape and tubes of brown acrylic paint. Oh and time.
…
OH MY GOD. The guy in the picture has a yoshi like mine. =O Most likely won from galaxy world no doubt.
Well, back to cutting out. Here’s a preview of my efforts for picture no. 5 of 32. [though I'm not the only one doing this but hey its Yoshiii =O and besides. I have a tablet pc. It makes cutting things out sooo infinitely more easier.]
You know, when cutting things, one of the things most greatly noticed are people’s feet and legs, and the fuzziness of people’s hair. I’m tempted to give some a bowl cut.
