It’s a warm day.

It’s a warm day.
Well, that’s an understatement.

It was 41 degrees and 5 minutes of walking in the sun felt like skin burning off.

It’s also one of my last days of relative holiday freedom before I move off into a restrained reality.
However, it does mean that 5 days a week I shall be without the freedoms usually so shared each summer.

Like drawing.

That said, I’m sure I’ll find the time.

Soo these are in my drawing Moleskine [yes I've succumbed to its trendiness]. Drawn using Copic markers. In those colours because I don’t happen to have any colours other than skin colours (classified under red), greys, and one very lone and very not Copic, lime green Pantone marker. Also outlined in Copic multiliners.

Ahh. If only I actually used these pens for drawing manga instead. Except… no colours and I draw flowers better.
After all, the human body is the hardest thing to draw, whereas still life will remain one of the easiest.

Hello Holidays! … for 3 weeks.

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

So within the last week, it’s been a tad topsy turvy. I’ve had my mother go into hospital for a breast cancer operation, and come back out again, all well and good though next up is chemo, got back my tablet PC from repairs, had 4 exams, 1 which I am really concerned about and did so badly that I’m really scared I might fail, got offered 2 jobs, one an internship and another a full time job, and I rejected one to much regret (and I’m still not sure about it since it’s got design in there), and start the other on the 30th, and gone to an epic fail YAA state awards dinner which was so not worth $174.

Yay.

But now the holidays are here, and I’m already bored because no one else is free and nothing is occupying my time and its just annoying not having anything to do even if these hols only last till the end of the week.
