It’s a warm day.
Saturday, November 21st, 2009It’s a warm day.
Well, that’s an understatement.
It was 41 degrees and 5 minutes of walking in the sun felt like skin burning off.
It’s also one of my last days of relative holiday freedom before I move off into a restrained reality.
However, it does mean that 5 days a week I shall be without the freedoms usually so shared each summer.
Like drawing.
That said, I’m sure I’ll find the time.
Soo these are in my drawing Moleskine [yes I've succumbed to its trendiness]. Drawn using Copic markers. In those colours because I don’t happen to have any colours other than skin colours (classified under red), greys, and one very lone and very not Copic, lime green Pantone marker. Also outlined in Copic multiliners.
Ahh. If only I actually used these pens for drawing manga instead. Except… no colours and I draw flowers better.
After all, the human body is the hardest thing to draw, whereas still life will remain one of the easiest.
